New Pups

It has been brought to our attention that one person is trying to help one of the many abandoned dogs from an Indian Reservation called "Kaibeto".

Here's what the video is about:

"The Indian Reservation is FULL of abandoned dogs. About 80% of them end up getting hit by cars, 10% of them get sick and the other 10% end up starving to death. The problem with this is that no one out there (or in my town) cares enough to go out there and at least save one life.

My boyfriend has been driving out to Kaibeto since we started dating (April) and has been seeing this dog for about four months now. When he first saw her, she was lactating and her belly was sagging as if she had just had puppies. She was also VERY skinny and had a large wound. He started feeding her every time he saw her. At first, she would slowly walk up to him in a nervous sort of way. Soon, she started laying next to him and falling asleep every time he went out for a smoke break as if that was the only way she felt safe...

Why don't we just go pick her up right now and rescue her? Because we don't have the money to get her shots..."

If you are willing, even a dollar can help them save a life.

I hope you're all having a wonderful fall! Enjoy your holidays ahead.

Thank you SO much for all of the support and interest for the open contributors positions. We now have enough and are closing the position.

Hopefully soon we'll see a lot more activity and great new staff to help keep things running smoothly! :)

Thank you for accepting seems that this group tries to be very professional and not only in photographing...I like especially that when you decline a photo you're willing to say why and help people to get better

Hi there! So this is what I can see that may have contributed to your picture being declined:
- It's quite grainy. Did you have your ISO up high? Lowering it or taking the picture in clearer, brighter lighting can fix this.
- No focus or depth. If you shoot in manual mode, trying playing around with your aperature to bring more depth of field to your pictures.
- The whole photo is a little fuzzy, try to steady the camera a bit more to make things "sharper" if that makes sense.
- The black and white is taking away detail. When using black and white, the white parts shouldn't be completely washed out. Did you take the photo in colour and edit it in a program? I'm not entirely sure how to fix/adjust this one honestly (B&W isn't my thing).

You are welcome to submit any canine related photos you want to the group :-) however, they are all voted on just like this one was. I'd love to see more from you though!

Have stopped my Membership:
Having declined a photo....I asked why?
Heard nothing!
I also see here that you don't even reply to messages.
Pretty poor.
